From its state of the art practice in the Whitgift Centre, Croydon, it offers a range of treatment options to suit all needs and budgets ranging from routine checkups through a full range of general dental procedures to implants and invisible braces.

Dr Anita Cryer holds both Polish & British dental qualifications having qualified as a dentist in Katowice, Poland in 1990 before settling permanently in the UK following her marriage to Nigel and gaining her British qualification (General Dental Council Statutory Examination) in December 1995.
Immediately after qualifying, Dr Cryer took up a position as a House Officer specialising in prosthetics at the Royal London Hospital before moving into general practice, initially in Elephant & Castle, London and then in New Addington Croydon in September 2001. Both were busy NHS practices providing excellent experiences in a wide variety of general dental treatments which form the backbone of AllClear.
Dr Cryer is keen to widen the range of treatments on offer at AllClear and is currently adding implants and Clearstep™ clear braces to the range. She also places a high importance on putting nervous patients at ease and will always take time to discuss any worries that patients may have.
We’ve designed our practice with outstanding patient care in mind. From the moment you approach AllClear, you’ll notice that things are a little different to many other dental practices. Our floor to ceiling front windows let you see into the open plan reception and waiting areas and TV screens in the windows advertise our services and special offers.
After being welcomed at reception, you’ll be shown to our waiting lounge where you’ll be able to sit in comfort until it’s time for you to be seen. While you are waiting, you may be asked to complete a medical history form and also give some details about dental treatment you have received in the past & your expectations for your future treatment.
When it’s time for you to see the dentist, you will be shown into the surgery and given time to settle down before your examination or treatment begins. You can rest assured that we use a range of state of the art equipment to enable us to diagnose and treat problems as easily as possible. We’re also fully computerised which means that your records are always easily accessible by our dentists and staff.
On completion of your treatment, you will be taken back to our reception area for payment to be made and for any follow up appointments to be booked. Before you leave us, don’t forget to stock up on toothbrushes, toothpaste and other items from our shop where you’ll find a wide range of dental products at competitive prices.
By the way, if you have a disability, AllClear in Croydon will welcome you. The practice is fully accessible by wheelchair and there is a ramp to take you from reception to the waiting lounge from where there is level access to the surgeries. We have equipped the practice with a range of state of the art diagnostic and treatment equipment and any or all of the following machines may be used during the course of your examination or treatment
We use a number of digital imaging tools in AllClear and the following descriptions include pictures from the manufacturers’ websites and/or examples of the images they produce.
Intraoral camera An intraoral camera is a tiny digital camera on the end of a wand that allows the dentist to show you a close up picture of any problem areas in your mouth on a monitor by the side of your chair. Any pictures that the dentist takes can be stored digitally with your other dental records for future reference.
We use the Digora Optime system which gives a far more comfortable experience than other digital systems in use. A sensor plate is placed in your mouth in exactly the same way as a traditional (film based) x-ray and after the x-ray is taken, it is scanned in a special machine which sends the image straight back to the surgery PC. Using digital x-rays has three main advantages over traditional x-rays:
The amount of radiation needed to take the image is lower Because they are digital, they don’t use environmentally harmful chemicals for developing . As they are stored digitally, the chances of them being lost are far lower than traditional x-rays.

Check ups
A regular dental check up is an essential part of your health regime. Apart from checking your teeth for signs of decay, we’ll also check your gums for signs of periodontal disease, visually check the soft tissue in your mouth for signs of oral cancer and other diseases and will give you advice on maintaining your oral health.
